The award-winning Parkway Shopping Centre, in Coulby Newham is launching The Parkway Community Fund (PCF), a new initiative, offering financial support for organisations charities, schools, and community groups within the Middlesbrough area.

As a shopping centre that sees itself at the very core of the local community, the search is on for groups, where a one-off investment of £250, can really make a difference.

From Thursday 1st October application forms can be downloaded from the Parkway website –www.parkwayshopping.co.uk/communityfund and then submitted to [email protected]

There are four x £250 bursaries available and interested parties should submit the completed application form before the closing date of Saturday 31st October 2020.

Zoe France, Centre Manager at The Parkway explains; “We are looking for those organisations who feel they can use this money to improve their service, enhance their offer or perhaps further invest in equipment to ultimately make a difference.

Zoe continues; “Never has there been a more important time to offer financial support. We are aware that many local organisations who were already struggling, have been hit even harder now we are living through a global pandemic”.

The Parkway Management team will review the entrants and four winners will be announced at the beginning of December and awarded their £250 bursaries at a small socially distanced presentation.
